1.1. This External Privacy Notice (“Notice”) is an integral part of the General Data Protection Policy of the Brazilian Association of High-End Décor Furniture Industries (“ABIMAD”), a private legal entity, headquartered at Rua Geraldo Flausino Gomes, 42, suite 61, Cidade Monções, São Paulo/SP, ZIP code 04.575-901, registered with the CNPJ/MF under number 05.853.322/0001-05, thus constituting a formal document approved by ABIMAD’s Board of Directors.
1.2. This Notice is intended to provide clarification to the public, especially VIP guests, architects, designers, visitors to fairs and events, and any other individuals who interact with the association, about how ABIMAD handles their personal data in business processes.
2.1. Through this Notice, ABIMAD establishes the ways in which the information and Personal Data provided by VIP guests, architects, designers, suppliers, clients, service providers, business partners, consultants, third parties, as well as competitors, public authorities, and entities with which it has any type of interaction, or any other party maintaining a relationship with the company, will be collected, accessed, processed, stored, used, protected, and shared, without prejudice to mentioning any person or entity not described herein.
2.2. As with all policies regarding Data Protection, the application of such practices will be developed in a standardized manner with respect to internal activities and its target audience, not merely complying with current legislation, but with the primary goal of conducting activities with ethics, seriousness, and integrity, as is the case with the virtues applied in its services.
2.3. We regularly review compliance with this Privacy Notice. If we make changes to this Notice, we will post the revised version here, along with the revision date. If the changes are significant, we may also post a Notice on the homepage. Any changes will apply only from the revision date.
2.4. Therefore, it is expected that this document will be read carefully, as it seeks to provide transparency to all those with whom it interacts, directly and indirectly, regarding the storage of their Personal Data.
2.5. At the end of this document is the specific contact channel for any questions or requests related to this Notice and privacy issues.

When registering with ABIMAD, including through our online form available on the website, the following Personal Data are requested:
• Full name, email address, date of birth, gender and phone number.
For architects, interior designers and other professionals in the same field who attend the fairs and events, the following Personal Data are requested:
• Full name, email address, date of birth, class council registration number, gender and telephone number.
Regarding VIP guests, in order to participate in the fairs and events, directly or through third-party companies - accreditation partners and those responsible for managing the accommodation and transport services - the following Personal Data are requested to ABIMAD:
• Full name, e-mail address, date of birth, gender, telephone number, passport number (when applicable) and International civil identification document.
Whenever a registration is carried out in our systems, we understand that the interested party is civilly capable and that the data provided is personal and true, assuming the commitment to update them if there is any change.
Also, in order to guarantee the security of our operations, we may use all valid means to confirm your identity, and may, if necessary, request additional data, as well as copies of identification documents.
The above information is provided directly by you, but there are others that we may automatically collect when you use our services. Even so, you need to know which they are:
• Data from mobile devices from which access to the digital platform was given and other information such as the type and version of the browser used;
• Log data;
• It is possible to browse anonymously and to manage the site's cookies, just change the configuration of your browser, noting that certain cookies are essential for the functionality of our platforms. You can find out more about this in our Cookies Policy.
• Images and voice captured by our cameras, security or for the purpose of recording events, if you visit us at our headquarters or at our fairs and events.
We will use your personal data when necessary to achieve any of the following purposes:
• Satisfactory performance of ABIMAD's business, which includes participation in the fairs, provision of transport and accommodation for VIP guests and other services;
• Creation, alteration and maintenance of the records of ABIMAD users;
• Obtaining generic statistics to identify the profile of our audience and develop our campaigns;
• Service and relationship with the user, as well as the continuous improvement of the service provided by ABIMAD;
• Compliance with a legal obligation or requirement of applicable law; in response to legal proceedings; in response to a request from the competent legal authority; to protect our rights, privacy, safety or property; to enforce the terms of any necessary agreements or contracts or our terms;
• Protect the rights of users, third parties (especially those relating to intellectual property) and ABIMAD itself;
• Make advertisements as well as advertising and promotional contacts.
ABIMAD may share your Personal Data to provide and operate our services, which will be done to achieve a legitimate and specific purpose. We may, for example, share your data with:
• Partner companies and suppliers, for activities aimed exclusively at the relationship ABIMAD has with you;
• Partner company responsible for accreditation at the fairs and events, in order to enable the authentication of your personal data and prevent fraud;
• Partner companies responsible for managing accommodation and transport services to enable the participation of guests in our events;
• Professional consulting companies for banking, insurance, accounting or other technical consulting services;
• Advertising companies, to select and produce advertisements consistent with your profile, as authorized;
• Government agencies, tax authorities, the Judiciary Branch and/or other competent authority to comply with existing legal obligations. This treatment may include your full qualification data, for example.
Regarding the partner company responsible for accreditation in the fairs and events, it is MBX EVENTOS LTDA, established at Rua Aurélia, 1668 – São Paulo – SP – CEP 05046-001, registered with the Brazilian registry of legal entity (CNPJ) under nº.: 12.234.279/0001 -57. For the development of the contract between the parties, the data shared by ABIMAD are: (full name, date of birth and passport number - if applicable). On the other hand, once the registration is carried out, MBX sends the following data to ABIMAD: (full name, date of birth, Brazilian Register of Individuals, International civil identification document, gender, class council registration number and passport number, if applicable). It is important for you to know that we make every effort to ensure that your Personal Data does not need to be shared beyond its actual need, and we undertake to update this Notice whenever we notice that we need to include or exclude any sharing activity.
Therefore, we want you to be aware that, when Personal Data is shared with a third party, this will only be to achieve some legitimate and specific purpose previously informed to you.
With the same purpose of treating with transparency and protecting your Personal Data, we keep the data with us only as long as it is necessary to achieve a specific purpose and to comply with requirements regulated by deadlines in legal and contractual provisions.
In addition to these hypotheses, previous possibilities, regardless of your consent or exclusion request, the General Data Protection Law allows to keep your Personal Data in the following situations:
• Study by research bodies, ensuring, whenever possible, anonymization;
• Compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation;
• Transfer to a third party, respecting their rights and provisions in data protection and privacy laws;
• Our exclusive use, prohibited access by third parties, and provided that the data is anonymized.
The security of personal data is a serious matter and a right of all holders. Thus, care practices and information security are strict standards of action, and must follow the legal provisions regarding the implementation and updating of technological resources to ensure that all information and Personal Data collected are not subject to destruction, loss, alteration, communication or diffusion.
Therefore, in our security guarantee, in addition to the adoption of internal procedures (such as backup), we are guided in the sense of always complying with the legal aspects and regulations in force.
In compliance with current legislation, ABIMAD informs your rights regarding your Personal Data, ensuring the possibility of submitting requests based on the following rights:
• Confirm the existence of treatment;
• Access Personal Data;
• Correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated Personal Data;
• Request the anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary, excessive or processed personal data in violation of the provisions of the LGPD;
• Request the portability of personal data to another provider of a service or product, when possible, and subject to regulation by the national authority;
• Delete or anonymize personal data processed on the basis of your consent, except when the law authorizes the maintenance of this data for another reason;
• Obtain information on public and private entities with which the controller has shared the personal data of the data subjects;
• Obtain information about the possibility of not giving consent to the processing of your personal data and the consequences of such denial; and revoke your consent, as applicable;
• Submit a petition to the National Data Protection Authority.
You may still exercise any other rights provided for by law, even if not listed here. As an exception, your request may not be honored, but if so, we will explain why. However, we advance that this will only occur if there is some legal basis.
