ABIMAD - Brazilian Association of High Decoration Furniture Industries was founded in May 2003 by Paulo Allemand. The entrepreneur, with expertise in this segment for 20 years in the market with his furniture industry, realized the need to create a new way of presenting his products and those of other entrepreneurs in the region. It was necessary to create a business fair, but also to have a strengthened team of brands, constantly updated and furthermore, guided and supported by an entity that defended their rights.
In February 2004, the first edition of ABIMAD was held at the Imigrantes Exhibition Center, now São Paulo Expo. The event brought together 64 furniture industries from all over Brazil, with a greater concentration of brands from the south of Brazil. Thus, ABIMAD was born, today the main High Decoration fair in Latin America, with two annual editions, now in its 24th edition. ABIMAD also has three important programs: ABIMAD Export, ABIMAD VIPs, and Hall Magazine. Currently, there are 184 furniture brands associated from all over Brazil.
